FAQ
AdvisorCove Questions, Answered Clearly.
Plain-language answers about the Medicare Practice Platform: AdvisorCove Complete, AdvisorCove Connect for an existing advisor website, widget installation, privacy, pricing, and guided Medicare client preparation.
What is AdvisorCove?
AdvisorCove is a Medicare Practice Platform for independent licensed advisors — the digital front office for a Medicare practice. It combines a professional Medicare website, guided client preparation, Medicare intelligence, consent-based advisor handoff, consultation-time requests, and a protected advisor workspace in one platform.
Is AdvisorCove software for Medicare agents?
Yes. AdvisorCove is Medicare advisor software built as a complete practice platform: a branded website, guided client intake, Medicare plan context, consent-based handoff, consultation-time requests, and a protected advisor workspace.
What should a Medicare agent website include?
A Medicare agent website should clearly identify the licensed professional, explain services and coverage concepts in plain language, work well on mobile devices, disclose privacy and compliance boundaries, and give prospects a structured way to prepare before requesting help.
How is guided Medicare client intake different from a lead form?
A basic lead form usually collects contact information only. AdvisorCove's guided intake helps a prospect organize location, Medicare timing, coverage direction, priorities, doctors, prescriptions, pharmacy preferences, and plan-review context in a private session before a consent-based advisor request.
Is AdvisorCove a CRM?
No. AdvisorCove is not currently marketed as a full CRM. CRM capabilities may become an optional add-on later.
Can AdvisorCove connect to my CRM?
AdvisorCove does not currently connect directly to third-party CRMs. Advisors can securely download eligible client-request information as a CSV file and upload it into their CRM. AdvisorCove retains the full contact-safe request for seven days, then keeps only limited follow-up information for up to 30 days before deletion.
Does AdvisorCove provide a website?
Yes. The core product gives an advisor a branded AdvisorCove website, such as thomas.advisorcove.com, based on one of three professional templates.
What if I already have a Medicare advisor website?
Keep it. You do not have to replace it. The AdvisorCove Connect membership lets you place the guided Medicare intake widget on one approved website you already own. You keep your existing design, domain, pages, and marketing while adding AdvisorCove's Medicare intelligence and guided client experience.
Can I use my own domain with AdvisorCove Complete?
AdvisorCove Complete is hosted at your AdvisorCove subdomain. You may forward a domain you own to that address, but the browser changes to the AdvisorCove address after the redirect; true custom-domain hosting and domain masking are not currently included. Use AdvisorCove Connect if visitors must remain on your existing domain.
What is AdvisorCove Connect?
AdvisorCove Connect is a secure, advisor-specific embeddable widget version of the guided Medicare review that can appear inside an advisor's existing website. It helps visitors organize Medicare location, timing, priorities, prescriptions, providers, and review context in a private session before requesting help from that advisor.
How can the widget appear on my website?
Advisors can choose an inline widget that appears directly within a page or a modal version that opens after a visitor selects a button. Both display options work on desktop and mobile devices.
Can I choose how the widget starts?
Yes. The widget can begin with Enter your ZIP code or with What matters most to you? The selected starting question leads into the same guided AdvisorCove intake.
How do I install the AdvisorCove widget?
After activation, enter one approved HTTPS website origin in the AdvisorCove back office, choose the starter and display style, and add the supplied script snippet to your website. The widget is designed for common website builders such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, and custom websites that permit a script or embed block.
Is the widget secure on my website?
The widget is hosted by AdvisorCove inside an isolated frame, restricted to the exact HTTPS website origin registered by the advisor, and authorized with a short-lived signed token. The surrounding website does not receive medication, provider, screening, contact, or plan-review details from the widget.
Where do widget consultation requests go?
A visitor who explicitly consents to advisor contact submits the request to the specific eligible advisor connected to that widget. Contact-safe requests appear in the advisor's protected AdvisorCove back office. AdvisorCove does not silently substitute another advisor in an advisor-owned widget flow.
How much does AdvisorCove Connect cost?
AdvisorCove Connect has a $199 per month Standard Rate. The Current Rate is $119 per month or $1,190 per year for advisors who subscribe before September 20, 2026. Rates increase September 20 for the 2027 AEP, and the subscribed rate stays locked in while the membership remains active. It includes one approved website origin and one launch state; additional selected states are $39 per month each and activate after license verification during the seven-day validation process.
Can clients enter doctors and prescriptions?
The guided review can help consumers organize doctors, hospitals, prescription medications, pharmacy preferences, and priorities during their private session so the advisor conversation starts prepared. These sensitive details stay in the session and are not transferred to the advisor.
Does AdvisorCove compare Medicare plans?
AdvisorCove organizes Medicare plan context for informational review. Final plan details, network participation, drug coverage, costs, eligibility, and enrollment decisions require licensed advisor verification.
What Medicare data does AdvisorCove use?
AdvisorCove is built around Medicare and healthcare data infrastructure including CMS plan, benefit, formulary, pharmacy, provider, Care Compare, NPPES, and Star Ratings sources where appropriate.
Can I use my own branding?
Yes. Advisors can configure approved elements such as photo, name, agency, service area, languages, represented carriers, biography, template, color theme, and supported profile-card placement.

AdvisorCove Complete has a $249 per month Standard Rate. The Current Rate is $149 per month or $1,490 per year for advisors who subscribe before September 20, 2026. How do I lock in my current monthly rate?
Subscribe before September 20, 2026 to lock in 2026 AEP pricing. Rates increase September 20 for the 2027 AEP. Your enrolled monthly rate remains in place as long as your subscription stays active; if you cancel and return later, the Standard Rate in effect at that time will apply.
Is the AdvisorCove Directory free?
Yes. The AdvisorCove Directory at directory.advisorcove.com is the free national directory for independent Medicare advisors. There is no monthly fee, no listing fee, and no subscription required. A directory listing is a completely separate free service that helps advisors establish an online presence, increase visibility, and improve local discoverability. Advisors can upgrade to AdvisorCove Connect or AdvisorCove Complete whenever they are ready to grow.
What is the difference between the AdvisorCove Directory and the AdvisorCove Platform?
The AdvisorCove Directory is a free national directory that gives licensed Medicare advisors a searchable public listing with contact information and service areas. The AdvisorCove Platform offers AdvisorCove Connect, an embeddable widget product, and AdvisorCove Complete, a hosted professional website product, with guided client preparation, Medicare intelligence, consent-based consultation requests, and an advisor workspace. Together they form the AdvisorCove ecosystem — be found for free, then build your practice when you are ready.
Does AdvisorCove guarantee leads or sales?
No. AdvisorCove does not guarantee leads, appointments, enrollments, commissions, revenue, or savings.
Is AdvisorCove affiliated with Medicare?
No. AdvisorCove is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. government, CMS, Medicare.gov, or any insurance carrier.
Can AdvisorCove enroll consumers?
No. AdvisorCove is a technology platform. Licensed professionals are responsible for verification, advice, and enrollment steps.
Which carriers and states does AdvisorCove support?
AdvisorCove currently supports configured carrier plan context across Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The carrier coverage page lists each named carrier and its supported launch states. Carrier support does not establish an advisor's appointment, certification, ready-to-sell status, or plan availability in every county.
How does AdvisorCove keep plan information current?
Medicare plan data is refreshed by contract year. AdvisorCove archives official source files, validates and transforms records, loads supported operational data, rebuilds search indexes, performs quality checks, and explicitly activates the new contract year. The active platform dataset is currently organized for the 2026 contract year. Because carrier details can change, licensed advisors must still verify current plan documents before enrollment.
Is AdvisorCove HIPAA compliant?
AdvisorCove's guided Medicare experience is designed so sensitive healthcare details — doctors, prescriptions, and pharmacy preferences — stay within the consumer's private session and are not stored for or transferred to the advisor. AdvisorCove does not claim HIPAA certification. Advisors continue to collect and maintain any protected health information they require through their own established compliance processes.
Why will I still confirm doctors and medications with the client?
AdvisorCove uses those details during the consumer's private preparation session to help organize Medicare plan context. Those sensitive healthcare details are not passed to you. You verify and recollect what you need for your licensed review using your own established workflow — the benefit is that the client has already gone through a structured preparation process and arrives with clearer context about what they want to discuss.
Does AdvisorCove store my client's health information?
AdvisorCove is designed to guide clients through their Medicare preparation while respecting their privacy. Sensitive healthcare information is not stored for advisors. Advisors continue collecting and maintaining any protected health information using their own established compliance procedures.
Why doesn't AdvisorCove send doctors and medications to advisors?
AdvisorCove prepares the Medicare conversation while allowing advisors to continue using their own established documentation and compliance workflows. This approach keeps advisors in control of how protected health information is collected and maintained.
How does AdvisorCove protect client privacy?
AdvisorCove is built with privacy-first principles. Clients can prepare for their Medicare consultation while advisors continue using their own established processes for handling protected health information. Health-related inputs stay in the visitor's private browser session and are not stored or transferred to the advisor.
Does AdvisorCove replace my compliance process?
No. AdvisorCove enhances the client experience before the consultation. Advisors remain responsible for collecting, documenting, and maintaining protected health information in accordance with their own compliance procedures and applicable regulations.
How does AdvisorCove treat private client information?
AdvisorCove is designed so the system itself does not retain sensitive user healthcare data. Doctors, medications, pharmacy preferences, priorities, and other healthcare comparison inputs stay in the visitor's browser session and are not stored or passed to the advisor. The guided intake helps the consumer organize their options and determine a plan direction, then routes a contact-safe request to the selected advisor so the consumer can schedule a final consultation and enrollment directly. The advisor receives only contact information, location, scheduling preferences, consent records, and one selected plan reference. Full request data is deleted after 7 days; only the consumer's name and phone may remain available to that advisor through day 30 for follow-up, after which that minimal record is permanently deleted.
